OYSIPEDIA/TRADITIONS

An encyclopedia of ritual traditions and other vehicles of indigenous oral knowledge, focused on the concepts and ideas with a potential to expand human consciousness. The main example we propose is the ritual use of dissonant sound (Sonido Rajado), a tradition that connects back to the origin of human thought and art.

Oysipedia is a subjective encyclopedia in progress, gathering indigenous oral knowledge, concepts, ideas, metaphors, sounds and images. We welcome contributions, in audio recordings, photo, video and writing. Our goal is to create a collective vehicle, with contributions by oral speakers from around the world.
