Artist, professor and curator. He has a Fine Arts degree (2001), an Art Teacher Training (2002), Master in Fine Arts (2010), PhD © in Education, from the Catholic University of Chile. He has participated in more than 60 exhibitions, both in Chile and abroad (New York, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Lima, Havana, Cape Town, Quito, Berlin). He has obtained different awards, as FONDART (2017), CONICYT Scholarship Advanced Human Capital Development (2014-2018), International Network for Comparative Analysis of Social Inequalities INCASI (2018, 2019), Artistic Creation Contest UC (2017), Creation and Artistic Culture Prize, Universidad Católica de Chile (DIPUC), 2005, VRAID 2007, 2010, 2012, 2013 and FONDEDOC, 2010, “Taller Exposición de Pintura Iberoamericana”, Spain, 2001, First Place Promotion 2001 In Bachelor of Arts, Honorary Scholarship for Academic Excellence Scholarship at the Catholic University of Chile in 1998 and 1999.
In addition to developing a research and creation proposal linked to Arts-Based Research and Interdiscipline, he has worked as a Professor in Fine Arts since 2002 at the Fine Arts School of Catholic University of Chile, teaching in various courses, both in the area of Painting and in Workshops of Creation. He is also a professor of the Master's program in Cultural Heritage of the UC School of Architecture.
His work focuses on the relationship between art, education and firsts nations, based on a transdisciplinary approach that addresses action research as a collective work methodology.
