Oysi is dedicated to the oral poetries and cultures of the world.
We believe that the way of knowing contained in the indigenous oral traditions of the world represent an increasingly threatened link to ancestral knowledge which may be critical for the long term survival of humanity.
The first step to value indigenous wisdom is to listen to their languages, to their poetry and music.
This page will present contemporary and historical oral poets, as well as poets who write from the perspective of orality.
